Hart District Local Plan

The Council prepares the Local Plan as the policy framework to guide development within Hart District. The Hart District Local Plan (Replacement) 1996 - 2006 was adopted on 23rd December 2002. The fully published adopted Local Plan was published in May 2003.

  Please note that the policies adopted on 22nd June 2006 as the first alterations to the Hart local plan will remain in operation until 22nd June 2009.

Hart District Council adopted First Alterations to the Local Plan on 22nd June 2006. These now form part of the Development Plan for the District and will provide the basis for planning decisions. The First Alterations may be viewed at:

A hard copy of the plan (including the First Alterations and amended maps) can be purchased for £65 inc. p+p.

The Local Plan is also available to purchase on CD-ROM at a price of £10.00 (including p + p). However, the CD-ROM version does not include the recently adopted First Alterations and amended maps.

A hard copy of the First Alterations, including the updated Proposals Map and relevant Inset maps, can be purchased separately for £15 (including p + p).
