Local Development Framework (LDF)
The Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004 introduced a radical overhaul of the development plan system. The current Development Plan in Hart comprises of:
Existing Plans:
The Hart District Local Plan (Replacement) 1996-2006
The Hampshire County Structure Plan (Review) 1996-2011
Regional Spatial Strategy (RSS) - The South East Plan
Hampshire, Portsmouth and Southampton Minerals and Waste Local Plan (partly replaced) Minerals and Waste Local Plan
These will be replaced with the following plans:
- Hart's Local Development Framework
- Regional Spatial Strategy for the South East (South East Plan)
- Hampshire Minerals and Waste Development Framework (partly adopted)
Of these, Hart district Council is responsible for preparing the Hart Development Framework which will set out the planning and development for the period from 2006 up to 2026.
