Fees for Planning Applications
Most planning and other related applications require the payment of a fee set by Government legislation. The current rates came into effect on 6th April 2008 and are set out in a leaflet produced by the Planning Office (see download section). If you require more detailed information please refer to the Town and Country Planning (Fees for Applications and Deemed Applications) (Amendment) (England) Regulations 2005.
These fees are exempt from VAT
Fees for Planning Services
On 1st January 2005 Hart DC introduced charging for some of its Planning Services. This is in addition to the fees for planning applications. These fees are subject to VAT.
The new charges have been introduced to enable the Council to cover the costs of some of its processes which are not directly covered by planning fee income
This includes -
pre-application advice for non-domestic proposals,
making changes to your planning application post decision,
researching the planning history of a site,
and checking that planning conditions have been complied with.
The fee schedules are available as downloadable leaflets.
