Running a Business from Home

The Planning Office can offer guidance, either on the phone (01252 774419) or at the Planning Surgery, to help you decide whether your business will constitute a material change of use and consequently requires planning permission. We will also research the planning history of a site to check if there are any conditions that could limit its use; - a fee is payable for this. However we are unable to confirm that planning permission is not required and we strongly advise that you apply for a Lawful Development Certificate for a proposed use.
