Food Hygiene Training
Food Safety Training is essential to ensure not only compliance with the law, but for food handlers and businesses to have a proper understanding of their responsibilities
There are currently four levels of training:
Level 1 - Essentials of Food Hygiene Training
These courses provide the basic principles of food safety in any working environment;
Level 2 - Basic Food Hygiene
These provide a broader understanding of food hygiene to all staff, including supervisors and team leaders, in all food businesses;
Level 3 - Intermediate Food Hygiene
These provide a more in-depth understanding of food hygiene and is designed for those supervising food hygiene or managers/owners of a food business.
Level 4 - Advanced Food Hygiene
A comprehensive course designed for those who intend to oversee food hygiene in larger premises or devise and implement hazard analysis documentation.
Hart District Council are currently running Food Hygiene Level 2 Courses at the Council Offices, and can also provide In-House training. Costs start from £60 per delegate including lunch and examination fee. (costs may vary depending on location and number of delegates)...
