Community Burials
When a person dies within the Hart District Council boundary and there is no one prepared or available to take responsibility for the funeral, under Section 46 of the Public Health (Control of Disease) Act 1984 the Council will arrange the funeral.

"A large number of Freedom of Information Act requests are received by the Council concerning the estates of deceased persons referred to the Treasury Solicitor. In accordance with provisions of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 this data will be made available under Hart District Council's Publication Scheme."
