Burials

      Hart District Council does not permit the pre-purchasing of graves within Fleet Cemetery, except in exceptional circumstances, where Environmental Health should be contacted for further advice. The purchasing of graves is usually made through a funeral director, however it is possible to purchase graves directly from the council. When a grave is purchased the Notice of Interment and Conditions of Acceptance forms must be completed,

      To obtain permission to erect a memorial in Fleet Cemetery the following application should be completed,

• Application to erect monument and inscription at Fleet Cemetery

      Ashes plots may also be purchased for burial within Fleet Cemetery, however there is not a crematorium within the District and the nearest is Aldershot.

• Notice of interment of ashes and the provision of a stone/tablet with inscription
