Hart, in common with many other areas in the South East, is under constant development pressure. The council works with developers, wildlife trusts, government agencies and other local councils to manage the balance between the provision of the housing, industrial sites and infrastructure that is needed for a sustainable community, and a healthy and sustainable natural environment for the benefit of all.
