Repeat Victimisation
Repeat Victimisation can take many forms.
Common repeat crimes include; burglary, domestic violence, racial abuse, harassment, sexual abuse, bullying, vehicle crime and vandalism.
The victimisation cycle is often linked to location or deprivation but can be driven by personal circumstances, i.e. race, sexual orientation or domestic situation.
For the ‘Safer Hart’ partnership, victims of crime are very high on the agenda. The three elements driving the Hart Community Safety Strategy are victim, offender, and location.
