Hart Guide: Church Crookham

Formerly part of the unparished area of Fleet, Church Crookham was named after Christ Church at it's heart. Church Crookham lies to the South of Fleet and became an independent civil parish in April 2010. The area is largely residential but has some modern industrial areas along the main routes.
There are several distinct areas within Church Crookham including Tweseldown, Zebon Copse and Vellmead. Tweseldown is famous locally for it's racecourse. Tweseldown is one of Britain's premier horse trials venues. Known for hosting dressage, show jumping and three day eventing, the site also has over 200 varied fences including water, ditches and banks plus grass gallops in the form of a racecourse.
