Places to discover
The villages of Hart are perfect examples of all that is typically English. Many of them with greens, duckponds and thatched cottages are based on ancient original shapes, on the line of a street or in the form of a circle round a green.
Historic buildings include farms, mills, and country houses. Features associated with turnpike roads, railway and canal and ancient monuments are all part of the rich historic interest of the district. There are also several delightful Norman churches, to be discovered. Crondall, Greywell. Rotherwick and Hartley Wintney are all past winners of the Best Kept Village in Hampshire competition.
