Communities

Hart District is made up of a number of distinct village and small town communities, of which Fleet is the largest. This section provides more information about the facilities and services which are available in each of these communities as well as activities which bind communities together.

The parishes detailed are treated as "Civil Parishes" for the purpose of this guide (as opposed to the church parishes which may not have the same geographical boundaries). Civil parishes are a layer of local government and define the areas governed by the parish (or town) council.
