Join us for this very popular free event at Fleet Pond. Drop in anytime between 10am – 2pm. Many of the stalls are interactive, offering educational activities and hands-on learning including bug hunting, butterfly kite making and pond-dipping. Even though the event is free don’t leave your purse at home as there will be stalls selling various wildlife related items. Refreshments such as tea and coffee will be available along with delicious food available to buy from the Chieftain Explorer Scouts. Car parking is VERY LIMITED at Fleet Pond so we are asking local visitors to leave the car at home and take a leisurely stroll to the site for a full ‘back to nature’ day. The event will be signposted from all access points around the Reserve pointing you in the direction of the stalls, so if you walk through Chestnut Grove or Wellington Avenue we will be easy to find.
