Hart District Council is working with other local authorities in a Five Councils Partnership to look beyond their immediate neighbours to share services.
The partnership is designed around opportunities that go far beyond the traditional single service contract. It contains 13 services across five locations. The councils are Hart District Council, Mendip District Council, South Oxfordshire District Council, Vale of White Horse District Council and Havant Borough Council. East Hampshire District Council is also involved through services already shared with Havant.
The 13 services include a full range of corporate and professional services, which is underpinned by digital innovation and delivered through collaborative platforms to achieve efficiencies. It will also deliver a range of property, car parking and facilities management solutions to maximise returns on our commercial investments and revive our portfolio of legacy buildings. The councils’ corporate services, including HR, IT and finance will be provided by Capita, one of the UK’s leading business process and support companies. Facilities management, property services and parking services will be provided by VINCI Facilities, with experience across the UK and Europe. In partnership with VINCI Facilities partners, Arcadis are delivering property services and Indigo delivering parking services.
