Fleet Business Forum has developed proposals to introduce a Business Improvement District within Fleet town centre.
A Business Improvement District (BID) is a business-led and funded partnership working to implement projects that benefit an area and its businesses. It is set for a period of 5 years and operates within a defined geographical area.
A BID can only be implemented following a ballot of all businesses within the defined BID area.
Fleet Business Forum has requested that Hart District Council undertake a BID ballot.
The ballot will take place entirely by post with all votes having to be returned by 5pm on 23 March 2017.
