Election day across Hart

Polling stations are open for Hart District Council and Police and Crime Commissioner elections today until 10pm.

All voters at polling stations will need to show photo ID before voting. You can find out more information and check a list of accepted forms of photo ID on our Voter ID page

As well as changes to voter ID requirements, some electors in Fleet & Yateley will find their polling station has changed. Please check your polling card to confirm your polling station location and accepted ID or use the Find your polling station tool

Results

We published the results on our website through the evening of 2 May at they came in. The count began after polling stations shut at 10pm. 

Following the results, the Council is now consists of 12 Liberal Democrat, 11 Community Campaign (Hart) and nine Conservative councillors, and one Independent.

The count for the Police and Crime Commissioner election for Hampshire and the Isle of Wight is taking place today (Friday 3 May). The result will be declared once all 14 local authorities have finished their counts and these results have been collated by the Police Area Returning Officer at Southampton City Council. The results will be published on Southampton’s website.
